When you borrow the iPad you get the following items:

Browse all categories of apps on the Apple website. You can find descriptions of the newest and most popular apps. There is a large selection of work, entertainment, social media apps. Some apps are free but others you must pay for.

The iPad is a small handheld tablet computer made by Apple. The iPad has a touch sensitive screen with a virtual keyboard; you can scroll down a page, zoom in and out and open links - all by tapping the screen with your fingers. You can use the iPad to surf the Web, listen to music, check your email, take pictures, record videos, play games and edit documents.

In addition to these basic functions, you can also load apps onto the iPad. Apps stand for applications - basically programs that allow you to do specific tasks like watch videos or edit pictures. Some popular apps are YouTube, Google Search and Skype. Browse the apps pre-loaded onto the library iPad on the apps page.
VCC students and employees can borrow an iPad at the Service Desk of the Broadway campus and Downtown campus libraries. Bring your library card or a picture ID.
iPads are first-come first-served. Contact the Service Desk for more details.
The loan period is 4 weeks, with no renewals, and you must wait one day before borrowing again.
