Early Childhood Education: Children's Literature

The best way to find a great picture book on a particular topic is to consult a book list and then search our collection for those recommended books by title, or author. There are some book list links below. 

However, if you would like to try to search the catalogue for a specific topic in children's literature, please follow the steps below: 

1. Click on Catalogue (under the search box)

2. Click on Advanced Search (top of the screen)

3. Click on "Keyword" and change it to "Subject"

4. Enter your search term, for example, "friendship"

5. Adjust the Search Filters: 

a.) Click on Format and select Books (Physical)

b.) Click on Audience and select Juvenile and Preschool
