Some topics can be searched easily in the library catalogue. For example, "nordic education," will bring up some results. You can then limit these to books, to find a good overview of the topic.
Other topics are too specific or regional to search in the library catalogue. You may need to consult a reference work that covers many different models, or you may need to begin on the internet.
Most theorists can be found through the library catalogue. For example, if you type "John Dewey" be sure to use quotation marks. You will find a "Research Starter" link at the top of the page. Follow this for a good overview from an encyclopedia.
