Seeking participants for the TLR, Student Showcase 2025

Instructors, please consider incorporating participation into your course syllabus and either electing top projects to participate, or join as as a class! This is fantastic opportunity for your students to gain confidence presenting to a live audience, and participating in a conference. 

There are two ways for students to participate: 

1. Digital Poster 
   Submit a PDF poster and it will be visible online in the VCC Institutional Repository: Student Conferences + Symposiums | Arca: Discover BC's Digital Treasures. (arcabc.ca)
    
2. Lightning Talk with 3-Slide Powerpoint
   Prepare a narrated 3-slide powerpoint presentation to submit. You will gain experience selecting key points, summarizing information, preparing visually appealing graphics, and considering how to hook and engage a diverse audience.

Student Presentations are LIVE / Student Posters may be submitted all year long. 

Prizes: $200 Best Lightning Talk Award/ $200 Best Poster Award and two draw prizes of $50.
