Where do I get my Library Card?

Your VCC ID card is you Library Card. You can get your card at the Registrar's Office.

 

What is “My Library Account”?

Your Library account lets you access your library record information (requests, fines, checked out items) and renew items.

 

What is “myVCC”?

Your myVCC account lets you access online courses, grades, VCC email, tax receipts and more. The login for your Library account and myVCC is your student number and the password is your birthdate (MMDDYY).

 

How can I access my VCC email?

Through your myVCC you get secure connection to your VCC email. All library notices for  overdues, fines, holds and interlibrary loan are sent to your VCC email.

The library offers a wide array of services and resources to help you with your information needs. Here are some useful resources:

  • Library Catalogue: Use this to search for Books, DVDs and other materials in the library. Accessible 24/7 via the web.
  • Article Indexes: Search these online databases to find articles in newspapers, magazines and journals. Must log in to use from off-campus.
  • Resources by Course: Visit this page to find out which of our tools are most appropriate for the topic you are researching. Organized by general subject areas.
