  • Indigenous pedagogy,  University of Manitoba, The Centre for Advancement of Teaching and Learning.
    • "In distinct Indigenous worldviews, 13 is a sacred number related to the 13 yearly moons and the turtle is a symbol of Truth. With that in mind and with the help of Indigenous Initiatives Educators, we've compiled resources related to 13 topics within Indigenous pedagogical theory to help you incorporate the Truth of Indigenous pedagogies into your classroom."

  • Worldwide Indigenous Science Network

The WISN is an educational organization that works locally, nationally and internationally to create an interface between western and indigenous cultures. We conduct research, host international conferences and cultural exchanges, and provide advocacy with international partners for endangered indigenous practitioners and traditional wisdom.

Subject Headings

  • Subject headings related to Indigenous pedagogy are currently evolving to reflect self-identities and traditional knowledge. The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), has recently completed a project to replace outdated terms like "Indian" with more accurate and respectful terminology like "Indigenous peoples". Libraries are developing local vocabularies and systems for organizing materials, ensuring a more inclusive approach to describing and accessing Indigenous knowledge.
